Sanford Police Shooting

Here is a fascinating article from the Orlando Sentinel concerning the Sanford Police Officer shooting that occurred 2 weeks ago where thankfully the officer survived. It seems the Seminole County State Attorney’s Office is deciding to charge Henry “Peanut” Baker as an adult bringing about a mandatory life sentence without parole. The S.A.O’s choice is in direct conflict with a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision. It will be interesting to see how this plays out…
